Scanning Files for Viruses

Are you doubting a file that you have just downloaded? In this article we will show you how to scan a file or folder for malware and viruses.

 

 

1. Find the location of the file, it is more than likely to be in your downloads folder.

 

 

 

2. Right click the file and choose “Scan with Bitdefender…”.

 

 

 

 

3. To find the results, Locate the up arrow on the bottom right of your screen

 

4. Right click the budtender icon (B), click show.

 

 

 

5. In the event log, find the latest contextual scan and click view log.

 

 

 

6. The results and statists should appear as drop menus.
